Hmm...yesterday's SNYO's practice was ok. No bassoons though...3 oboes, 2 flutes and 3 clarinets. Bad news...there's no school concert next year! Gosh...which means we will be playing the 2nd and 4th Movement for like half a year! That's SUPER boring...sigh.
I had my clarinet lesson today. Stood outside lao shi's house knocking at his door for like 10 mins. He was playing his saxophone in the room, so couldn't hear my knocking. Sheesh..so i smsed him. No reply...3 mins later, decided to call his house phone. That worked...he opened the door, and told me he left his hp in the car? *whacks head* Oh well...today didn't play much. Since i didn't practise..haha. Got Stravinsky 3 clarinet solo pieces from him...For about 15 mins he was talking about how he celebrated new year in his hometown when he was young. They had ice lanterns! Their celebration is so much more interesting than how we celebrate...
Oh well..shall stop posting anymore. Haha...Can't wait to watch Chicken Little soon.
